The Israeli Education Ministry has stated that students' grades will not be affected by absences during the Iran war. The decision was made following discussions with the National Student and Youth Council. Special education institutions in Jerusalem are expected to resume operations on Wednesday after two and a half weeks of closure due to Operation Roaring Lion. Other educational institutions in the city will continue remote learning only. No transportation will be provided and schools without proper protected spaces will be required to relocate to alternative buildings. The Home Front Command extended its current policies until Wednesday night, following the implementation of an updated policy that categorizes regions based on its assessment.
