Sid Krofft, known for his award-winning career as a children's television producer and puppeteer, has passed away at the age of 96 at the home of his friend and business partner Kelly Killian. Known for his work as co-creator and co-producer of H.R. Pufnstuf, Land of the Lost, and The Donny and Marie Show, he also inspired a theme park. His publicist described him as an icon who did what he loved most until the end. Prior to his death, Sid and Killian were working on two books recounting Sid's life and career.
