A judge in Fresno, California, has ruled that a transfer hearing for the teen girl accused of being the getaway driver in the murder of Caleb Quick will proceed. The judge stated that there is "overwhelming circumstantial evidence" to determine if she should be tried as an adult. Following the decision, the girl's family quickly left the courtroom, celebrating the decision. The defense claimed that the girl was aware of an alleged rape committed by Quick and that their client had discussed a plan to kill him with her boyfriend. The alleged murder weapon was described as a silver revolver, and two guns were left in the suspect's home by his late grandparents.
