Cary-Grove High School baseball player Brady Bauer and senior Kaden Norman led the winning effort against Woodstock North in a 16-1 nonconference play victory over the Thunder. Bauer's home run sparked a nine-run seventh inning for the Trojans, who scored 14 runs over the final two frames to secure the win. Despite a pitchers' duel, Woodstock N. left-hander Ryan Lalor managed to keep the Thunder in the mix, allowing him to allow Cary-grove to score two runs and one unearned run on three hits over five innings. Despite the loss, the team will now face Lakes on the road.
