U.S. Navy kicks off T-45 replacement competition

The U.S. Navy has initiated a competition for the Undergraduate Jet Training System, which is set to replace the T-45 Goshawk. Several companies have emerged, including Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Sierra Nevada. The Navy expects to buy more than 200 of these trainers.
