An Isle of Wight man, Kenya Chapman, has been charged with selling Mohamed Jalloh the gun used in the attack on Old Dominion University, which killed two ROTC students and injured Army Lieut. Col. Brandon Shah, who was leading the class, died later at the hospital. The FBI has stated that Jaloh bought the Glock 44.22-caliber pistol from Chapman for $100 and asked people in the room to confirm it was an ROTc event before he began shooting. The U.S. Attorney's Office has also charged Chapman with stealing the gun a year ago from a vehicle in a federal housing complex.
