William Hoyle, 42, of Wildwood, has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for a shooting that seriously injured an employee on the Jersey Shore boardwalk. The victim, a 20-year-old woman from Lithuania, was shot in the head and sustained critical injuries. Hoyle was identified as a suspect after a search was conducted for his home and found clothing matching the gunman's description and a 9mm handgun.
