The National Puppet Museum in Huamantla, Mexico, reveals Mexico's rich puppet history. Despite being among the least populous states in the nation, Tlaxcala, is often overlooked by Mexico's masses due to its micro-sized size and two Pueblos Mágicos. The town is home to the Feria de Hamantala in August and the Rosete Aranda International Puppet Festival in October. The museum's collection of 5,000 puppets is now on display year-round and is open to the public from all over the globe. The festival, which began in 1983, celebrates its 40th anniversary and includes 60 performances by over 35 troupes.
