Novo takes on Lilly and telehealth rivals with new Wegovy pricing

Novo Nordisk is testing new Wegovy pricing across telehealth platforms in an effort to standardize pricing across the network. The new model offers lower monthly costs for patients who commit to three, six or 12 months. The program is available through telehealth brands including Ro, Weight Watchers and LifeMD. The subscription model also helps lock in patients long-term, helping to drive results and revenue. This move comes as Novo faces competition from Eli Lilly and digital health upstarts like Hims & Hers.
