The New York Yankees' home opener brings energy, tradition, and a celebration of community. Outside the stadium, chants of "Let's Go Yankees" echoed along River Avenue and 161st Street. For 9-year-old Eric, this was his second home opener and a family celebration. Street performers such as Mr. Stephenson and Mr. Edwards also contributed to the festive atmosphere.
