Luna: Ghislaine Maxwell ‘not getting a pardon’

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Florida) has stated that Ghislaine Maxwell, the longtime associate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, is not expecting a pardon despite questions from some lawmakers. Luna, a member of the House Oversight Committee, stated that Maxwell was involved in the plea deals and that some women who intentionally trafficked victims were given victim status due to plea deals by the former Department of Justice. She also suggested that former Attorney General Pam Bondi should testify about the DOJ’s handling of the Epstein files. Some lawmakers are split on whether Maxwell should be granted a pardon, with some calling it offensive to her victims.
