Two Albuquerque restaurants, Urban Hotdog Co. and Clowndog Hot Dog Parlor, are set to compete in a national hot dog competition for America's best hot dog title. The64, an interactive online platform, is launching a national competition in search of America’s best hot dogs. The competition, which will begin on March 26, will pit two Albuquerque eateries against 62 popular hot dog eateries across the country. The public vote will determine the winner through an 18-day tournament with six rounds of voting. The winner will be determined by the public, with Matt Bernabe, owner of Urban Hot Dog Co. who has been doing this for 14 years, said it's an honor to be in the running for the title.
