Former member of the Virginia National Guard, Mohamed Bailor Jalloh, was released from prison early from his 11-year sentence after confessing to providing material to the Islamic State and praising the gunman who killed five U.S. military members in a terrorist attack in 2015. It is unclear why his release was delayed.
