Sid Krofft, Producer and Creator of ‘H.R. Pufnstuf,’ ‘Land of the Lost,’ Dies at 96

Sid Krofft, the creator and producer of the children's shows "H.R. Pufnstuf" and "Land of the Lost," has died at 96. His friend Kelly Killian expressed his love for Sid and shared his insights into Hollywood and human nature. The Kroffts also produced several variety shows, including "Donnie and Marie" and “Barbara Mandrell and the Mandrell Sisters” Their most successful series was “Land of Lost” which featured an entire family of dinosaurs. Despite speculation of LSD influence, Marty Krofftt denied any influence.
