A Long Beach man has been praised for protecting his great‑granddaughter during an attempted kidnapping. The incident occurred while the 80-year-old man was out walking with his wife. The woman, identified as 40-years-old Heather, allegedly attempted to take the child from the stroller but was later found to have no connection to the child.
