A Red Flag Warning remains in effect for Friday across the Texas Panhandle, with temperatures reaching the upper 80s to lower 90s and strong winds expected. The combination of warm air, low humidity, and strong northern winds will create critical fire weather conditions across much of the area. The front is expected to arrive late Friday and move southward through the evening hours. The primary impact will be strong north winds, with sustained speeds of 30 to 40 mph possible. While the warm, dry air mass will cover most of the region, there may be a few showers and thunderstorms developing over the southeastern portion of our region as the front arrives.
