Florida Sen. Rick Scott has criticized the Democrat Party for supporting the racist and anti-Semitic rhetoric of left-wing livestreamer Hasan Piker. Piker had suggested that if you cared about Medicare fraud or Medicaid fraud, they would kill Rick Scott. Scott, a Republican, has called for Yale University to lose funding for supporting Piker at an event. Prior to his political fame, Scott co-founded the Columbia Hospital Corporation, which was fined $1.7 billion and faced convictions for defrauding Medicare, Medicaid, and other social benefits programs under his tenure. He has denied knowledge of the fraud but has taken responsibility for it.
