Marsee gets green light, takes McLean deep amid effort to snap slump

Marsee, a 25-year-old player who didn't turn 25 until June 28, has been encouraged by manager Clayton McCullough's decision to rest some games with a right-handed starter in order to give Esteury Ruiz more playing time. Despite this, there have been concerns about Marsee's performance and the production of No. 6 prospect Cam Cannarella at Triple-A Jacksonville, who has a combined 1.020 OPS between three Minor League levels this season. Despite these setbacks, Marsee managed to score two hits in a comeback win over the Phillies. He also made a notable catch in a game against Bryce Harper.
