Long lines, flight cancellations plague Atlanta airport amid storms, shutdown

A severe thunderstorm forced a ground halt at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, resulting in long security lines and hundreds of flight cancellations. The airport was also disrupted by the incident, which occurred during a period of uncertainty. The cancellation of all flights is estimated to have occurred at least once a day.
