Hops & History: Michigan brewery claims new hi-five world record

A Michigan brewery, Watermark Brewing Co., has claimed a new Guinness World Record, breaking the current record of 292 hi-fives in one minute. The record was set in 2024 at Kochino Junior High School in Japan. However, the Guinness World Records requires controlled guidelines for each record attempt, sometimes involving an adjudicator. Despite this, the brewery maintains its claim to the people's championship.
