Seven Valleys' bar invites patrons to saddle up and head to the saloon

The Valley Tavern in Seven Valleys has hosted National Ride Your Horse to the Bar Day for the past two years, inviting horse riders to ride their horses to their favorite watering holes. The event was started in 2021 by Dale Garwood and has grown every year since. While it is a recent holiday, horses have a long history of visiting bars and taverns, many have served as coaching inns for travelers to rest their horses. The Valley Tavern plans to make this annual event an annual occurrence.
