Chiefs will not be Seahawks' opening-day opponent

The Seattle Seahawks will host their season opener on Wednesday, September 9th, and the potential opponents may include the Cardinals, Chiefs, Chargers, Bears, Cowboys, Giants, and Patriots. The Chiefs owner, Clark Hunt, stated that there is concern over Patrick Mahomes' readiness to play after a recent knee injury. The Rams and 49ers are also playing in Melbourne on Thursday, September 10th.
