Man accused in St. Matthews kidnapping, armed robbery has assault charge added after fight in jail

Armond Langford, accused of kidnapping a woman and her children and forcing them to drive to a bank for a robbery, has been charged with assault following a physical altercation with another inmate. This isn't the first time Langford has been arrested for such crimes. He was sentenced to 14 years in 2021 for a string of robberies and released on shock probation after five months.
