Jimmy Olsen's mystery comedy show will feature things that haven't "been seen in the superhero genre" before, says showrunner

Dan Perrault, co-showrunner of the upcoming DCU spin-off series Superman's Pal, has revealed that the show will feature unusual elements not previously seen in the superhero genre. Perraults credits his experience with fellow showrunner Tony Yacenda for his selection. The show will be led by Skyler Gisondo. Despite rumors of a show called "DC Crime" being in development, DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn refuted these rumors. The upcoming Superman sequel Man of Tomorrow is set to begin filming soon.
