Nike has removed an advertisement in a Boston Nike storefront that read "Runners welcome, walkers tolerated" following backlash from social media users. The ad was placed at the brand's Newbury Street shop before the 2026 Boston Marathon, where an estimated 30,000 racers are expected to participate.
