Sustainable fashion show & Earth Day warehouse tours at Goodwill

Goodwill Omaha is celebrating Earth Week with activities throughout the week, including a sustainable fashion show and warehouse tours. The organization has been focusing on sustainability at the heart of its mission and has recycled nine million pounds in 2025, equivalent to 225 semi-truck loads. Director of Retail Sales Rudy White stated that sustainability is central to the company's mission and that it's not just for the environment but for the local community. Goodwill's recycling warehouse, off of 72nd & F Street, holds all of the second-chance items, a free boutique and all recyclable materials, including plastic bags. The nonprofit repurposed 330,000 pounds of plastic bags last year.
