The trial of former Coachella Valley Unified School District substitute educator, Valadez, is currently being deliberated by jury after delivering closing arguments at the Banning Justice Center. The District Attorney's Office alleges that Valadezz became acquainted with a girl named "A.S." while supervising a special education class at Coacheva Valley High School in Thermal in November 2019, and added himself to her social media accounts without permission without consulting family members. He was arrested without incident but soon after posting bail, and dismissed from his position weeks later. While awaiting trial for the lewd acts case in 2021, he allegedly connected with his brother's girlfriend, G.A., to help her plan a birthday party for the man.
