A poll conducted by Age Without Limits has found that Gen Z, a generation that believes that hitting the age of 62 officially makes you old. The survey also found that 20% of Gen Z don't think they'll look good in current fashion at 56, start struggling with technology at 59, and begin facing cognitive decline at 62. This is a significant shift from a generation barely out of college. The poll also revealed that 20%, 27%, and 25%, don't expect to be in good health later in life, and 25% don't anticipate having many family members or friends around them as they age. The study also found Gen Z were more hopeful than baby boomers about older people still being valuable in the workforce. The research suggests that psychological functioning actually stays strong into the late 50s and early 60s, with a more noticeable decline later than later.
