A gunman dressed in Iranian flag design and the words "Property of Allah" killed two people and wounded 14 at a Texas bar, according to a law enforcement official. The FBI is investigating the shooting as a potential act of terrorism. The suspect was shot and killed by police after using both a pistol and a rifle. The shooting occurred outside Buford’s Backyard Beer Garden, a popular nightlife destination near the University of Texas at Austin. The Department of Homeland Security identified the gunman as 53-year-old Ndiaga Diagne. No clear motive has been established for the attacks, but authorities have found "indicators" on Diagne's vehicle and his clothing indicating terrorism.
