A woman and two children were saved after Atlanta police used new E-911 technology to track their location in real time during an alleged kidnapping. The technology was activated when a woman's call to 911 multiple times disconnected, leading dispatchers to activate live chat and real-time location sharing powered by RapidSOS. This enabled dispatcher Derbita Bronner to send a pin of the woman's location and the make and model of the vehicle. The information allowed police to locate the woman and children within two minutes. A man was taken into custody in connection with the kidnapping.
