Alan Osmond, the eldest member of his brothers' band, The Osmonds, has died at the age of 76 after a decades-long battle with multiple sclerosis. He was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease in 1987 and died with his wife, Suzanne, and eight sons at his bedside. His last post on Instagram stated that he was the "Oldest and 'Leader' of the Osmmonds," though he was not the eldest of his siblings. Donny, known for his role in the band, joined at age 5 and later became their lead singer. OsmOND's death comes two months after his last post was on Instagram.
