Over 500 members of the Brentwood community gathered for a breast cancer awareness walk on April 18 to honor survivors, remember loved ones, and raise scholarship funds for local students. This year's event was dedicated to Elizabeth "Lila" Marrero, a close friend of Board of Education President Eileen Felix and a well-known community member who died on April 8. Three local survivors, Michael Landesberg, Delia Melendez-Leon, and Patricia Annan, contributed to the event.
