The Heights Schools Foundation and the Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District are launching a $1-million fundraising campaign, "Heights High 100," to support community initiatives. The campaign will include student scholarships for graduating seniors, academic innovation and enrichment programs, arts, culture and athletic initiatives, and district-wide opportunities that strengthen public education. Three special events, including a Gala on June 19-21, will be held. The Heights High 100 campaign is seen as a call to action at a time when public education is facing "unprecedented challenges."
