The British Medical Association (BMA) is planning to ballot senior doctors in England for industrial action after unsuccessful negotiations with the government. This comes amid a dispute over pay and working conditions that began in March 2023. The BMA plans to hold separate polls of hospital consultants and specialist, associate specialist, and specialty doctors from around the world from May 11 to July 6.
