Billionaire billionaire Mark Zuckerberg recently purchased a $170 million megamansion on Miami's Indian Creek Island, making it the most expensive residential real estate transaction in Miami-Dade County. However, according to property records, Zuckerberg's new home is only the seventh priciest private dwelling to change hands in recent history and only the second most expensive home to have been purchased in Florida. This is less than $70 million cheaper than America's most expensive property, a penthouse purchased by Citadel billionaire Ken Griffin for just under $240 million in January 2019. In Florida, the record-holder is held by a waterfront estate in Naples for $225 million. Realtor.com reveals the 10 most expensive homes to sell in the U.S.
