Cole Tomas Allen, the would-be shooter who attempted to attack the White House Correspondents' Dinner, revealed in a manifesto that he was willing to kill everyone in the room. The document, which included around 2,500 people at the event, argued that the potential mass casualty event was justified as most people chose to attend a speech by a "pedophile, rapist, and traitor" who they believe is complicit in his actions. Allen only considered members of the Trump administration, including FBI Director Kash Patel, as fair targets. He also stated that he would only shoot Secret Service, Capitol Police, and hotel security if they shot him first, but would still go through most everyone to get to the targets. The manifesto was sent to relatives ten minutes before the attack.
