A report by The Leapfrog Group has revealed that North Carolina is among the states with the highest percentage of top ratings. The report ranks hospitals from "A," "B," "C," "D" or "F" based on their ability to protect patients from medical errors, accidents, injuries and infections. Other states on the list include Connecticut, Virginia, South Carolina, Utah, Montana, New Jersey, Florida, Maryland and California.
