Eastmoreland homeowners Nicole Wear and Calle Holmgren have partnered with Blueprint Earth to replace turfgrass with gardens of native plants that are beneficial to pollinators. The transformation of their backyard requires mowing and watering, but these plants are now considered beneficial to butterflies and bees. The couple moved into their home in 2020 during the pandemic.
