AT&T has increased its prices for its "retired" unlimited wireless plans, which customers who have not upgraded are still using. The move comes as the carrier shifts its focus to newer "2.0" plans. The company implemented two price changes: If a single plan has a single line, the price went up $10, and if two or more lines on an account, the increase was capped at $20. The affected plans also receive an extra 20GB of high-speed hotspot data each month. The changes only apply to wireless plans activated prior to July 2025, not just discontinued plans. An AT&T spokesperson stated that the price increase reflects the cost of continuing to deliver the speed, reliability, and support our customers expect every day.
