A study conducted by the Pew Research Center has found that over half of Americans believe the level of ethics and honesty in the federal government has declined since the start of President Trump's second term. The survey also found a clear partisan divide, with 88 percent of Democrats and Democratic-leaning respondents believing the level has dropped, while only 23 percent of Republicans and GOP-leaning. The study also found that half of respondents agreed that naming government buildings after the president would not be acceptable, while just over 20 percent said it would be acceptable once his term ends. The poll also revealed that support for the president and his policies have waned, with his job approval rating at 34 percent, the lowest mark of his second term, and his fiscal policies are becoming more unpopular.
