Legendary actress and model Judy Pace passes at 83

Legendary actress and model Judy Pace, known for her roles in Peyton Place and the TV movie Brian's Song, has died at the age of 83. Her daughters, Shawn Pace Mitchell and Julia Pace, announced their death on March 11. They were the youngest members of the Ebony Fashion Fair in 1961 and influenced her career by becoming the first Black woman under contract at Columbia Studios. Additionally, Pace won an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series in 1970 for her role in The Young Lawyers.
