North Road Company Launches North Road Films; Kori Adelson Named President

The North Road Company, Peter Chernin's content production shop, has launched North Road Films, a new film label focused on "distinctive filmmaker perspectives with broad audience appeal". The operation will be led by Kori Adelson, who is already overseeing projects made and co-funded by North Road, including the upcoming A24 project "Backrooms". North Road will operate alongside Chernin Entertainment Film to produce and finance projects that connect with wide audiences. Adelson has previously produced films for A24, Netflix, and Fox.
