Robbery Suspect Tries Swimming To Oakland To Escape Police Chase

A robbery suspect was arrested in Alameda after he attempted to escape from a police pursuit, jumping into an estuary and attempting to swim to Oakland. The California Highway Patrol attempted to pull the suspect over after their vehicle matched that of another used in a robbery. The suspect was located at the Bridgeside Shopping.
