MinnPost's Twin Cities Documenters program trains and pays community members to take notes at local government meetings. The April 28 Hennepin County Board and Regional Railroad Authority met to approve updated leases for a children's mental health care center and an urban farm run by the Native American Community Development Institute. The county board also approved a renewal of the lease and use agreement for St. David’s Nicollet Center, a Minneapolis child care center for kids with trauma and behavioral and developmental disabilities, and a contract award to S.M. Hentges & Sons, Inc., and budget amendment for the multimodal improvements on CSAH 82 (Mill Street) Pathway in Shorewood, Excelsior and Chanhassen.
