San Jose Garden Club’s spring plant sale set for April 24-25

The San Jose Garden Club is holding its annual spring plant sale and garden boutique April 24-25 to raise money for local charities. The sale offers plants grown by club members and includes a garden boutique featuring yard art, pottery, and other garden-themed gifts. The club, founded in 1972, aims to address local food insecurity, promote horticulture and landscape design, and participate in civic beautification projects. Proceeds from the plant sale will benefit Sacred Heart’s La Mesa Verde Garden Program, Our City Forest, Loaves and Fishes Kitchen Garden, Lean/Calero Rose Project, Valley Verdes, Sempervirens-Big Basin, Garden2Table, Second Harvest Silicon Valley and Second Harvest Santa Cruz.
