Carson City judge orders end to Kalshi sports outcome contracts in Nevada

A judge in Carson City, Nevada, has ordered prediction market operator, Kalshi, to stop writing contracts involving sports results with Nevada residents. The order comes after a legal dispute with Nevada gaming regulators for more than a year. Kalsh has also been given until May 4 to implement geofencing and or location measures to prevent any user from engaging in illegal activities under Nevada gaming laws.
