Newly discovered prehistoric crocodile 'hunted human ancestors'

A new species of crocodile has been discovered, with its size and age of 3.5 million years old, discovered by researchers from the University of Iowa. The reptile was the largest predator in the ecosystem, more than any other species, and could have hunted our human ancestors. The discovery was made in an attempt to identify the species.
