The City of Hutto has introduced a 24/7 AI chatbot, HippoBOT, designed to enhance customer service and facilitate communication between residents and city staff. The chatbot was developed in partnership with Citibot, a firm that helps local governments develop AI communication tools. It can be used to find information on local services, report an issue, or reach a specific department in the government. The new chatbot is available on both desktop and mobile devices.
