The award was presented at the annual fundraising dinner for the National Republican Congressional Committee. The award will be given annually. During the speech, Trump criticized Iran's plans to make a deal with the country and Supreme Court justices who derailed his tariffs. The committee, which works to elect Republicans to the House, has generated roughly $37 million so far. This recognition comes after several other notable awards, including the FIFA Peace Prize and Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado's 2025 medal.
