Man indicted in deadly Mass. birthday party shooting

Nicholas Meuse, 23, has been indicted on murder charges for allegedly shooting and killing two people at a birthday party in Carver, Massachusetts, in January. Meuse allegedly entered the Saint John the Baptist Club on Jan. 24 and shot four people, two of whom were pronounced dead. Benjamin Cowart, 27, was pronounced dead at the scene while Jalen Pina, 20, was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth where he later died. A 28-year-old man and a 32-year man were also hospitalized in the shooting. Meused was apprehended in the woods near the venue and is currently being held without bail.
